PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• The Akita puppies has its origin Japan and appearance are reminiscent of the wolves.
• The Akita dog breed males measure on average between 65 and 70 cm (* height at the withers) and females between 57 and 63 cm.
• The weight of this breed ranges from 33 to 50 kg.
• The coat of these dogs is twofold, and the top coat is straight, hard and dense, soft undercoat.
• Can have the following colors: white, sesame (red coat with black tips), red and brindle.
• The ears are long and with rounded tips.
• The eyes are small and triangular.
• The ears of akitas are slightly tilted forward and carried erect.
• Has a thick tail and strong.

• The akita puppes usually is a loving, safe, protective and very courageous.
• Another important feature of akitas dogs is the patience they have.
• Use only the barking at times necessary. Usually howl when you needed anything.
• It is a breed of dog possessive relationship with the owners and territory. This feature makes the aita a great watchdog.
• To answer the calls from the owner needs to be educated and trained early.
